Enjoyable salmon fishing in Orkla
In one of Norway’s best salmon rivers, Orkla, we find Bårdshaug Manor’s private fishing beats Fandrem 1 and Gjelørene. The beats are located 3 km from the hotel in scenic surroundings, and the generous riverbank is furnished with a shelter and benches. Here, we are happy to tailor arrangements for you or your group. An evening by the river can be just the pleasant break in the fresh air that completes your stay here at Bårdshaug Manor.
Fandrem 1 and Gjelørene are two-sided and accessible by car on both sides. The size of the beats and the width of the river make it suitable for up to 6 anglers. For our guests fishing on the beats while staying at the hotel, we have the option to arrange firewood for a campfire and a charcoal grill with accessories for an additional fee, ensuring everything is set for a great outdoor experience. We also offer take-away and catering services to the beats for guests staying on-site.

- Day pass in the fishing beat: NOK 600,-*
- Exclusive rental of the fishing beat: NOK 3250,- per day
- Local guide: NOK 2,850,- for one hour. NOK 950,- per hour for each additional hour started beyond one hour. Must be pre-booked.
- For exclusive rental, payment must be made within 14 days after booking.
