There's no need to leave your furry friend behind when the rest of the family goes on vacation. At Bårdshaug Herregård, pets are welcome in our selected rooms for those traveling with four-legged companions. Do you have any questions about staying with pets? We'd love to hear from you!
For those of you traveling here with pets
We offer accommodation in our station rooms for guests who wish to bring their beloved pets along for the stay. You can park your car right outside the door to your room, providing direct access from your room to the hotel's outdoor areas and a 2-minute walk to Orklaparken.
You can borrow a food and water bowl for your four-legged travel companion, as well as receive extra towels by contacting the reception. Accommodation with a four-legged travel companion incurs a cleaning fee of NOK 300 per night. Guide dogs stay for free.
Helpful tips
- Book directly through the hotel's website when you want to reserve hotel accommodation, including accommodation for your four-legged travel companion. If you book through a third party (e.g., hotels.com or booking.com), we will not be notified that you want to bring a dog/cat to the hotel room.
- We appreciate you bringing a travel crate for your four-legged travel companion, especially when you are not together or sleeping.
- Please hang up a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door if your four-legged travel companion is alone in the room for a while, so both your companion and the housekeeper won't be surprised.
A short walk from the hotel is Orkdal Animal Center, where you'll find both a pet store Buddy and Evidensia dyreklinikk.
