As tradition holds, we invite you to our 17th of May buffet in the hotel’s lobby area. Here you can help yourself to delicious hot dishes and an enticing dessert and cake table. We will also have a special buffet tailored for children and young guests.
Flavorful hot dishes with local ingredients
We are serving whole-baked halibut from the Trøndelag coast, sirloin and entrecôte from local Trønder cattle, and spareribs from Meråker. Side dishes include potatoes from Solhus Farm in Fannrem, root vegetables, creamy mushrooms, corn purée, salads, and a variety of classic sauces.
The children’s buffet features homemade meatballs from Meråker, sausages from Renskleiv Farm, and homemade pancakes, with sides like French fries, boiled potatoes, root vegetables, and traditional brown sauce.
An irresistible dessert and cake table for everyone
The dessert and cake table is open to both children and adults, offering a wide range of traditional favorites and exciting new creations made by our kitchen team. The little ones can also enjoy fruit skewers, chocolate mousse, strawberries dipped in chocolate—and of course, ice cream.

The hot buffet will be available from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, with the last seating at 4:15 PM.
Please note that this year’s buffet is slightly different from previous years, as we will not be serving cold dishes. However, we are confident the menu will delight guests of all ages.
