Game Evening 2025

Saturday, November 1st at 6:30 PM, we welcome autumn into our historic rooms with a flavorful game evening at Bårdshaug Herregård.


Our close collaboration with local farms, hunters, and foragers ensures we serve the season’s finest ingredients from forest, mountains, plateaus, sea, and farmland. High-quality, locally sourced ingredients combined with a historic atmosphere and a skilled kitchen team will provide you with an extraordinary dining experience at Game Evening 2025.

The evening begins with Norwegian cider as an aperitif, served with a small appetizer. After that, your hosts will welcome you to the table.

The full menu will remain a surprise until late September or early October. This gives our kitchen team, led by Linda and Marius, time to be creative and fine-tune every detail—for your enjoyment.

Our hosts and serving team have extensive experience and knowledge of how drinks can enhance the meal. Carefully selected wine, beer, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks will be offered. These pairings are chosen in close collaboration with the kitchen to complement the menu. These can be purchased as add-ons to provide a complete and refined tasting experience.

We usually can accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies without compromising our quality standards. However, for this very special evening, we regret that we cannot adapt the menu for vegetarians or those allergic to milk protein. Dietary requirements must be submitted at least 72 hours before arrival.
