Food & Beverage Manager

What will your responsibilities and work areas be?

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the dining departments, including the restaurant, events, bar, and catering for courses and conferences. This includes, among other tasks, compliance with alcohol regulations, staff scheduling and timesheet approval, recruitment and staff development, quality management, as well as improving both colleagues’ skills and the hotel’s service areas to drive sales and profitability.

Additionally, you will work closely with the Head Chef on both professional and personnel matters, ensuring that our menus, beverage selection, and concepts align with the commitments of the Trøndersk Matmanifest and the hotel’s focus on local food from Orkland and the surrounding region.

A significant part of your workday will be spent working hands-on in our service areas.

Across all aspects of the role, you will facilitate smart resource management and continuous development at the hotel, ensuring that guests experience quality service and outstanding hospitality, leading to memorable guest experiences. This should be done in a way that fosters a positive, supportive, and safe work environment where everyone is seen, valued, accepted, and respected. The combined efforts in this role will contribute to the hotel’s long-term profitability.
