Saturday 7 November at 18:30, we bring autumn into our historic rooms and invite you to a game dinner inspired by Christian Thams’ many hunting adventures in Trøndelag and beyond.
Our close collaboration with local farms, hunters and foragers ensures we get the season’s best ingredients from forest, mountain, moor, sea and farm. Locally sourced ingredients, combined with historic atmosphere and a skilled kitchen and service team, create a truly unique food and drink experience.
The evening begins with Norwegian cider as an aperitif alongside an appetiser, before your hosts welcome you to the table. The detailed menu will remain a secret until mid-September, allowing our kitchen team to develop and fine-tune it for your enjoyment.
Dietary requirements and allergies
We can usually accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies. For this particular evening, however, we are unable to adapt the menu for vegetarians or dairy protein allergies. Dietary requirements must be submitted no later than 72 hours before arrival.
Drinks
Our hosts and service team have extensive experience in how drinks can elevate a meal. Working closely with the kitchen, carefully selected wine, beer and non-alcoholic pairings are put together, available as an add-on purchase.
Seating
We reserve the right to seat guests together at larger tables, and seating is arranged by the hotel. If you would like to sit with other guests who have purchased tickets, please let us know when purchasing, or contact us at post@baardshaug.no afterwards.
