What will your responsibilities and tasks be?
Alongside the department manager and their deputy, the head waiter will be part of the department’s daily leadership team. This includes specific responsibility for certain weekends, as well as shared responsibility for training and developing staff, ensuring the quality of the servers’ work, and being a proud representative of the serving profession.
We are looking for someone who will help develop our team of servers so that we can deliver high-level guest experiences in terms of knowledge, service, and hospitality at Restaurant Ministeren and for all types of events. You will primarily be working operational shifts.
The head waiter shares responsibility for compliance with alcohol regulations, cleanliness, order, inventory management, stock control, and purchasing.
In all aspects of the job, it is important to facilitate smart use and good development of the hotel’s resources, so that guests experience quality and hospitality that result in excellent guest experiences. This must be done in a way that ensures a good, developmental, and safe work environment where everyone is seen, valued, accepted, and respected. The sum of these efforts should ensure the hotel’s profitability.
