Wedding at the majestic manor
The beautiful manor is one of the finest and most special event venues we have in the region. Preserved in all its splendor since the early 1900s, it is perfectly suited for a romantic wedding. The dinner itself is held in the dining room or the library, and all the historic parlors are at your disposal. Accommodation for the bridal couple in the Baroness de Spengler's room or the King's room completes the experience. The best guest experience in the manor's parlors is for dinner parties of up to 40 people.
Wedding in the banquet hall
Inside the hotel, our beautiful banquet hall combines manor-style elegance with modern design. With a capacity of up to 120 guests, it's perfect for larger wedding parties. Adjacent to the lobby area, Jaktbaren, and the outdoor space at the back, it's easy to arrange for a bar, dance floor, and entertainment.
Outside the banquet hall, you'll find our charming courtyard. A lovely furnished outdoor area with umbrellas and heaters, ensuring you can enjoy the space regardless of the weather. It's ideal for 'the night before' events or as an extension of the banquet hall.

Outdoor ceremony at Bårdshaug Herregård
The area between the manor house, borgstua, and the hotel building is called borggården. This is an exquisite and intimate location for the ceremony. We decorate according to your preferences, roll out the red carpet, and organize everything to ensure the best possible experience for your guests. It's time to say I do.
We have successfully hosted several beautiful weddings in a marquee tent in the manor park, and we are happy to connect you with our marquee supplier, who can provide tents for your desired number of guests in the park for the ceremony, dining, 'the night before' event, or the wedding reception itself. We can also arrange for the ceremony to take place in the manor house or The Norway Building.
What is the cost of a wedding at Bårdshaug Herregård?
Depending on the size of the party, a wedding at Bårdshaug Herregård (prices as of 2024) starts from NOK 19,500. This includes venue rental for dinner and reception, as well as a dedicated wedding planner. Additionally, there is a minimum cover charge of NOK 1,900 per person, which includes an aperitif, a 3-course banquet menu, 3 units of drinks with the meal, as well as after-dinner drinks and service charges for coffee, cakes, and late-night snacks. Additional services such as wedding arrangement, flowers, accommodation, bar, upgraded food and drink menus, etc. are available at extra costs.
You are welcome to a thorough tour of our event facilities, as well as a pleasant discussion about your celebration preferences. Bårdshaug Herregård will provide you with a tailored offer for the services relevant to your wedding. There is a fixed cost of NOK 3,000 for the tour, along with a customized wedding offer from one of our event planners. If you choose to book your wedding with us, we will deduct this amount from your final bill.
